For my Mitzvah project I sold items of clothing that I helped design to raise money for METAvivor. METAvivor funds research and raises awareness for stage IV breast cancer. I was inspired to do this by a family friend who has metastatic breast cancer. In all, around $500 was raised for this meaningful cause. I also sold blankets that will be donated to Paoli Cancer Center for patients with metastatic breast cancer.
Some people who I would like to thank are Rabbi Tornberg for helping me write my D’var Torah, Cantor Zarkh for helping me learn my Torah portion and prayers, and my family and friends for giving me support and encouragement throughout this whole process. _____________________________________________
