The theme of the series is Wisdom Through Jewish Eyes. The concept of the series is reflected in this quotation: We find in the sage writings, the following insight: “Were an angel to reveal all the mysteries of the Torah, it would not please me, because study is more important than knowledge.” (Elijah ben Solomon Zalman, 1720-1797) Please click here to register
On the second Tuesday of every month, a small group meets in Beth Am’s newly-renovated kitchen to prepare 100 TV dinners for homebound people. If you are free for a little over an hour at 10:00 AM and would like to be part of this mitzvah, please contact Sandy Sham at 215-420-7455. ___________________________________________________

Sam Hill always saw the world through different eyes. Born with red pupils, he was called “Devil Boy” or Sam “Hell” by his classmates; “God’s will” is what his mother called his ocular albinism. Her words were of little comfort, but Sam persevered, buoyed by his mother’s devout faith, his father’s practical wisdom, and his two other misfit friends.
