BAT MITZVAH - DARA CHARTOCK For my mitzvah project, I worked with Hart 2 Heart Animal Rescue. This is an organization that helps cats and kittens find loving homes. I was able to help foster many of these animals and give them all the love they needed to make sure they were happy. I also held a collection to get food and other needed supplies. In addition, I held an in - person adoption event at my local pet store. If you would like to donate to Hart 2 Heart, please Venmo @h2hfundraising.
I would like to thank everyone for making this day so special. I would especially like to thank Rabbi Leib, Rabbi Tornberg, and Cantor Zarkh for helping me through this journey and making sure I was on the right track. I would not have been able to lead today's service without their help. I would also like to thank my previous Hebrew school teachers and the rest of the administrative staff here at Old York Road Temple-Beth Am for making this day possible. Lastly, I would like to thank my parents, Cari and Mitchell Chartock, for giving me their support and doing everything they could to make this day so special. I appreciate and love them so much.
