Yesterday, we shared information in preparation for a vote of the significant revision to our congregational by-laws. While we stand by the product and the changes from the 2014 version, some of you may have inadvertently misconstrued that the elimination of our Vice President of Education position was in reaction to or due to the actions of any specific person. That is absolutely not the case and the change was made to streamline the relationship and work environment between the board, the professional staff and school staff. We are thankful to Jamie Lincow for her dedication, hard work, and countless hours spent for the sake of Old York Road Temple - Beth Am. Jamie is a consummate professional in her field and her work as Vice President of Education will always be appreciated. We apologize if anything else was taken out of context from our statement.
