Adult Education - Crisis in Israel Discussion 2/28
Join Rabbi Leib on February 28 at 12:00 p.m. as he engages in conversation via Zoom with our friend Julian Resnick, who is both a tour guide and educator, about the current crisis in Israel.
Julian served as the guide for the Old York Road Temple-Beth Am congregational tour to Israel in 2016. He was born in Cape Town, South Africa and moved to Israel in 1976. He became a registered tour guide in 1987 and has worked as a freelance guide for central education institutions in Israel as well as with families, synagogue groups, staff training groups, business leaders and interfaith groups. He also guides journeys outside of Israel, wherever there is a Jewish story to tell, including Poland, Spain, Greece, Morocco, and South Africa. He has three children and seven grandchildren. Julian is a member of Kibbutz Tzorah, where he lives with his extended family.
This promises to be an engaging, impactful, and timely discussion, and there will be an opportunity to ask questions. A light lunch will be provided for those who attend in person. Zoom attendance will be made available for those who cannot attend in person.
Please indicate whether you are attending in person or on Zoom when you Register at the link below. To ensure the security of this meeting, the Zoom link will only be sent to those who register.
