Dear Fellow Beth Amniks: 
 
On behalf of the professional staff and lay leadership of Beth Am, please accept my very grateful thanks for your wholehearted support of our Eight Nights of Giving which, from all accounts, surpassed our expectations. 
 
We especially appreciate Rachel Frankel for having suggested this novel fundraiser which has caught the attention of Beth Amniks, both near and far, including a disproportionately large number of former congregants! 
 
As you light the last 8th candle tonight - and make a final contribution if you haven’t yet - know that your kindness will certainly help in so many ways. 
 
And please accept our gratitude for bringing so much desperately needed light into corners that are too dark and too deep this year. 
 
We can all make a difference and you most certainly have; thank you very much!

Summer is closer than you think! It’s the time of year when we begin the process of distributing scholarship funds from the Julia Nicole Marder Camp Fund to our families who need help sending their kids (Grades K-12) to Jewish day/overnight camps.
 
If you would like funding assistance for summer of 2024, please fill out this online form by December 31. ​​​​​​​We will have scholarship decisions by mid-February.
 
Thank you for making camp happen for you child—it’s one of the highest impact Jewish learning experiences kids can have.

Dear Friends,

While I would never dare minimize the supreme significance of Chag HaUrim, our winter Festival of Lights and how it’s enduring impact of Jewish heroism, resistance, honor and pride is especially felt now - this year - I’m also keenly aware of how Chanukah’s proximity to Christmas has unfortunately resulted in an atmosphere of conspicuous consumption: the instant gratification that our children, grandchildren and great grandchildren feel they are entitled to by receiving gifts on each and every one of the eight nights of Chanukah. 
 
So, instead, tell them that this year, this Chanukah, in their honor, you’re donating $18 on one night or, preferably, all eight nights to Beth Am! 
 
Don’t shy away from letting them know that your gift in their name is as - if not even more - critically needed now than ever before. And that’s no exaggeration!
